WE'VE RUN THIS ROUTE OURSELVES
Beaches, ferries, repeat.
Two weeks through southern Thailand's beaches and limestone islands. Start in Phuket, ferry out to Phi Phi and Koh Yao Noi, climb the cliffs at Railay, and close with a waterpark resort day before flying home.
TRIP AT A GLANCE
Best seasonNov–Mar (dry, cooler)
Good forIsland hopping, ferry-comfortable groups
PaceActive - moving every 1–3 days
WHY I PICKED THIS ROUTE
Koh Yao Noi almost got cut for being "too quiet" next to Phuket and Phi Phi. It ended up being everyone's favorite two days of the whole trip - keep it on the list.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Ferry schedules shift with the season - confirm the day before
- Bring cash; small islands often don't take cards
- Longtail boat prices are negotiable outside of tour groups
